Dee and Karen Weaver visit CODR

On Monday, October 23, 2023 Dee and Karen Weaver visited CODR for a special luncheon to hear about the projects on which the staff, faculty and students/fellows of the Center have been working. Students and fellows also shared with the Weavers their backgrounds and career aspirations. Dee Weaver is wife to the late Larry Weaver - former College of Pharmacy Dean and the namesake of Weaver-Densford Hall and the Weaver Endowed Chair, of which Jim Cloyd is the holder. Karen Weaver is their daughter. Dee offered comments about the role that she and Larry played in the history of the College and with orphan drugs.  Dee’s reflections offered CODR members a keener understanding of the history that led to the creation of the Center. We are grateful for their continued support of the Center!
