Georg Lab Well Represented at the International Retinoids Conference

July 29, 2024

Georg Lab at the IRC

Prof. Gunda Georg and her laboratory were major contributors to this year's International Retinoids Conference.

Prof. Georg gave a talk, Discovery of Retinoid Receptor Antagonists for Male Contraception, that highlighted the science behind her development of the first non-hormonal oral male contraceptive.

Graduate students from her lab were also able to make their mark. Rui Shi presented a short talk to the conference in addition to Prof. Georg's, and his peers Noha Taher and Ehfazul Haque were both selected for poster awards.

We are proud of their contributions and always thrilled to have Prof. Georg's expertise in our department.
