New Acting Chief of Operations for the Twin Cities Campus Named

Joseph Shultz has accepted the position of acting chief of operations for the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, Twin Cities. 

Shultz earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his master’s degree at Indiana State University. He received his PhD in educational policy and administration from the University of Minnesota. Presently, he is the assistant vice president and deputy chief of staff for the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost. Shultz will continue to split his time between the College of Pharmacy and Institutional Analysis. 

Shultz joins the college with tremendous experience, both at the University of Minnesota and in higher education. His background includes teaching, research, publication and presentation experience. His leadership experience and familiarity with broader University objectives will serve us well in advancing the strategic priorities and other major initiatives of the college.
