Rare Disease Center of Excellence

The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) has selected the University of Minnesota and 30 others to become designated as Rare Disease Centers of Excellence. CODR was prominently featured in the University’s application, which highlighted our contributions in education at the undergraduate, professional, and graduate student levels; our research; and our community engagement activities such as Rare Disease Day. More updates to come as the University begins its work on the development of a rare disease center.
