Self-Service operation and training
As part of our service to members of the College of Pharmacy the Clinical Pharmacology Analytical Services Laboratory (CPAS) offers operational assistance and training in the use of two LC-MS/MS (see below). Training on these instruments is tailored to the specific needs of the user and can range from simple compound optimization to full training with acquisition software with complete data analysis. The following systems are available.
TSQ Quantum Classic LC-MS/MS
This triple quadrupole mass spectrometer coupled with an Agilent 1200 SL series HPLC and Diode Array detector is ideally suited for quantitation of small molecules. The system is equipped with both ESI (Electrospray ionization) and APCI (Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Ionization) capability. Data reduction with Xcalibur software.
Quattro Ultima LC-MS/MS with Acquity UPLC
This triple quadrupole mass spectrometer is coupled with the Waters Acquity UPLC (Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography) system ideally suited for handling the latest generation of analytical columns. The system is equipped with both ESI and APCI capability. Data reduction with QuanLynx software.
