1. Summarize the rapid social changes occurring with gender and sexuality in the United States
2. Recognize the differences between gender and sexuality
3. Summarize ways you can achieve an LGBTQI inclusive worksite
4. List 5 lessons learned from the LGBTQI community that can be directly applied to your practice

The session includes valuable information to incorporate into Introductory and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE and APPE) and create open engagement between preceptors and students. Topics explored include: Intention/Reflection (I/R), feedback models and a crucial conversation tool.
Learning Objectives:
At the completion of this activity, the pharmacist will be able to:
1. Apply evidence-based practice designed to help focus, engage and motivate students.
2. Incorporate feedback models designed to engage students in a dialogue for self-improvement
3. Effectively manage interpersonal conflict with students in precepting situations
