Our Graduates at Work

OT students with a Patient

We prepare students to understand, apply, analyze and synthesize the science and practice of occupational therapy

The University of Minnesota’s OT program expanded beyond the Twin Cities campus in 2007 to include a second campus in Rochester, Minnesota.

Our coursework ranges from theory to hands on, supervised, data-driven field work and evolves to meet the changing workforce needs of the present day and future.

In the process, we prepare students to understand, apply, analyze and synthesize the science and practice behind occupational therapy.

Our students employ these concepts in a variety of contexts and settings, including state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories, laboratory simulations, online learning activities, and within patients’ homes and their communities.
